Sanlıurfa - Gaziantep Tour


  1. Day 1 Istanbul - Gaziantep - Sanliurfa

    05.30 am Meeting at Counter L7- Domestic Flights Departure Hall of Ataturk Airport
    06.40 am Departing for Gaziantep Airport with Turkish Airlines
    After landing in Gaziantep at 08.15 am, we take the tour bus to have a traditional Antep breakfast at Kusleme Kebaphan. Then we head to Almaci Bazaar, house of historic shops of the old town. At the bazaar, we will have Menengic Coffee, a traditional coffee made from the seeds of terebinth tree at a well-known historical coffeehouse: Tahmis. Then we will take a walk around the city and visit Tekke Mosque (Mawlawi Museum), Pisirici Masjid, Copperware Bazaar, Ala-ud-devle Mosque, Gümrük Han (Customs' Caravanserai) and Sirvani Mosque. We will take the tour bus to have lunch at Kebabci Halil,. Afterwards, we will take a short walk to Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the largest mosaic museum of the world. After examining the displayed mosaics and listening to the mythology they are based on, we will leave Gaziantep and head to Sanliurfa. We will directly go to El uha hotel, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

  2. Day 2 Sanliurfa - Gobeklitepe - Harran - Sanliurfa

    After having breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Gobeklitepe, (18 km Northeast), the oldest temple known to mankind. After a detailed tour around the archeological site, we will head to south, to visit Harran Valley, where we will see the Harran Tumulus, Harran Grand Mosque, the Citadel and the conic-shaped local houses. Later, we will get back to Urfa to have lunch at Culcuoglu Restaurant. Afterwards, we will visit Sanliurfa Archeology Museum, Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum, Balikligol, Halil-ur Rahman Lake, Ayn Zaliha Lake, the cave where Prophet Abraham was born, Sipahi and Kazaz Bazaars and Gumruk Han (Customs' Caravanserai) Then we will get back to our hotel to relax before dinner. In the evening, we will have a traditional dinner (sir night) at Cevahir Han.

  3. Day 3 Sanliurfa - Halfeti - Gaziantep - Istanbul

    After the breakfast, we will check out and leave Sanliurfa for Halfeti, where we will take a boat trip on the Euphrates to see Rumkale (Roman Citadel) and the partially submerged Savasan Village. Then we will head to Gaziantep, where we will visit Bey quarter, the place of id registry of Ataturk. Following a brief walk around the narrow streets of the old town and taking a look at the Martyrs Monument, we will head to Imam Cadges to have lunch, which will be the final point for another Anatolia tour with you, our valuable guests.
